Day 1: Malang – Jodipan Rainbow Village – Malang/Tumpak Sewu
Depart from Malang and drive to a Hotel in the Malang/Tumpak Sewu Area. Stop over to see the Jodipan Rainbow Village and take pictures with many colorful buildings around. We will arrive at Hotel in the afternoon. (Check In)
Day 2: Tumpak Sewu Waterfall – Bromo Area
Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. We will drive to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall which is near our Homestay. Meet the local guide and go together to one of the most visited Waterfalls in Indonesia. Around 2-3 hours after enjoying the Waterfall, we will go back to the Homestay to prepare ourselves before departing to the next Hotel in the Bromo Area. Once you reach the Hotel you will have some time to spare at your convenience by strolling around the hotel, the nearby farming area, witnessing the daily activities of the Tenggerese people, or just relaxing at the hotel.
Day 3: Sunrise Mt Penanjakan – Sea of Sand – Bromo Crater – Surabaya/Malang
Get ready to be picked up at 3.00 am by a 4WD-vehicle to experience the bumpy road to reach Mt. Penanjakan which is the best spot to enjoy the breathtaking scene of Bromo sunrise. Driving down the hill, you will pass the vast sea of sand, resulting from the eruption of Mt. Bromo, in a 30 minute-easy track all the way to the peak. From the crater rim, you can see the active Bromo crater, caldera and the mountainous views of Mt. Batok and the highest mountain in Java Island, Mt. Semeru. Also, you can find the Hindu temple reflecting the Majapahit Kingdom's history. Next, you can enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant and return to Surabaya.
