Day 1: Surabaya - Mt. Bromo - Mt. Ijen
Get ready to be picked up at 00.00 a.m by our driver and professional guide who will take you to Bromo area in Probolinggo. After departing from Surabaya, you will reach the destination in 2 hours. Then, we will continue the trip by Jeep (4 WD) to enjoy the bumpy road towards Mt. Penanjakan, which is the best spot to enjoy the breathtaking scene of Bromo sunrise. Driving down the hill, you will pass the vast sea of sand, resulting from the eruption of Mt. Bromo, in a 30 minute-easy track all the way to the peak. From the crater rim, you can see the active Bromo crater, caldera and the mountainous views of Mt. Batok and the highest mountain in Java Island, Mt. Semeru. Also, you can find the Hindu temple reflecting the Majapahit Kingdom's history. Next, you can enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant. After finishing breakfast, the guide will lead you to the next destination that is Madakaripura Waterfall. There, you will  find a natural 200m height waterfall with many spots relaxing your eyesight. Next, you will head to Mount Ijen Area in Banyuwangi / Bondowoso with a stop

over for lunch. Here, you will stay for a night in a hotel.

Day 2: Mount Ijen – Ketapang Port
Get ready in the early morning because you will be picked up at 11.30 p.m from your hotel. We will start the trip by driving you to Paltuding. Afterwards we will begin an hour-long trek to Ijen Crater.  Here, you can get the chance to witness the dazzling blue lava-like rivers of light known as the Blue Fire phenomenon. Next, we will explore the crater area and see a panoramic view of Mount Ijen turquoise. At 08.00 a.m, we will return to Surabaya, Malang or Ketapang port.

    Depart from airport/train station/hotel in Surabaya and drive to Sukapura Village
  • 02:00 - 03:00
    Arrive in Sukapura and head to Sunrise View Point by using 4WD jeep
  • 04:00 - 05:00
    Arrive at Sunrise View Point and take a coffee break while waiting the sunrise
  • 05:00 - 06:00
    Enjoy the Bromo sunrise
  • 06:00 - 07:00
    Head to mt. Bromo crater
  • 07:00 - 08:00
    Volcano climbing
  • 08:00 - 09:00
    Get back from Bromo crater and have a breakfast at a local restaurant
  • 10:00 - 11:00
    Drive to Madakaripura Waterfall
  • 11:00 - 13:00
    Enjoy Madakaripura Waterfall
  • 13:00 - 17:30
    Drive to your hotel in Bondowoso / Banyuwangi with stop over for lunch
  • Day 2
    Mt. Ijen – Ketapang Port, Surabaya or Malang

    Wake up at early morning and drive to Paltuding of Mt. Ijen Crater (Breakfast is provided in a breakfast box)

    Begin an hour trek to Ijen Crater to witness the Blue Fire phenomenon

Madakaripura Waterfall trekking difficulty: Easy to moderate. (A 20-30 minute walk from the entrance, followed by walking through shallow water streams)
Please book for the date of the sunrise.
Mount Ijen trekking difficulty : Moderate to challenging (3 km uphill trek, approx. 1.5–2.5 hours).
Mount Bromo trekking difficulty : Easy to moderate (30ish-minute walk from the parking area to the crater).
Pick up time is at 00:00 from your hotel/ train station/ airport.
