This package offers an efficient and seamless travel experience with our all-inclusive land tour package. Save your valuable time and energy as we expertly handle all ground logistics—from hotel pick-up and private transfers to ferry crossings, guided hikes, and activity arrangements. We ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey from the moment we pick you up in Bali until we drop you back at your hotel, allowing you to focus entirely on enjoying East Java's breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable adventures.
DAY 0 / DEPARTURE NIGHT
Get ready to be picked up between 5:00-6:00 p.m (bali time) by our driver who will take you to Gilimanuk Port. After departing from your hotel/airport in Bali, you will reach the port in 5-6 hours (depends on the pick-up place). Then, we will continue the trip by crossing the Bali Strait via ferry for about 1 hour.
DAY 1 / MOUNT IJEN - TUMPAK SEWU AREA
Upon arriving at Ketapang Port in Java, you will meet your guide and driver then we will drive directly to Ijen Basecamp in Paltuding. After a brief coffee break and safety briefing with your local guide, we will begin the 2-hour trek to Ijen Crater at midnight.
Wake up in the morning and we will drive to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall which is near our Homestay. Meet the local guide and go together to one of the most visited Waterfalls in Indonesia. Around 2-3 hours after enjoying the Waterfall, we will go back to the Homestay to have breakfast and prepare ourselves before departing to the next Hotel in Bromo Area. Once you reach the hotel, you will have some time to spare at your convenience by strolling around the hotel, the nearby farming area, witnessing the daily activities of the Tenggerese people, or just relaxing at the hotel. DAY 3 / BROMO SUNRISE - BALI/SURABAYA/MALANG
Get ready to be picked up at 2.00 am by a 4WD-vehicle to experience the bumpy road to reach Mt. Penanjakan, which is the best spot to enjoy the breathtaking scene of Bromo sunrise. Driving down the hill, you will pass the vast sea of sand, resulting from the eruption of Mt. Bromo, in a 30 minute-easy track all the way to the peak. From the crater rim, you can see the active Bromo crater, caldera and the mountainous views of Mt. Batok and the highest mountain in Java Island, Mt. Semeru. Also, you can find the Hindu temple reflecting the Majapahit history. If you are lucky, you will be able to witness the Yadnya Kasada ceremony, a Tenggerese festival held every 14th of the Kasada month, to honor Sang Hyang Widhi the Almighty God, Roro Anteng the daughter of King Majapahit and Joko Seger the son of Brahmana. After breakfast and freshen up, you will head to your drop-off point (Bali/Surabaya/Malang). If your drop-off is in Bali: Enjoy a scenic drive across East Java to Gilimanuk Ferry Port (6 hours). Cross the Bali Strait by ferry (2 hours), then continue the drive to your hotel in Bali (5-6 hours, depending on location and traffic).
If your drop-off is in Surabaya or Malang: You will take a direct drive from Bromo (approx. 2-3 hours).
