Day 1: Surabaya – Taman Safari – Tumpak Sewu Area
Get ready to be picked up at 9 am by our driver and professional guide who will take you to Taman Safari Prigen II. Once you arrive, you will enjoy a 45 mins fun safari ride to meet various animals from various parts of the world who are free to roam in a man-made environment designed to mimic their natural habitat. Afterwards, you can engage in entertaining and educational animal shows.They will display funny and adorable actions. Apart from that, there is a lot of knowledge about animals that you can gain from this animal show. At a baby zoo, you can get closer to the animals and interact directly with some of the animals in a fun way such as taking photos with exotic and adorable animals, riding animals and getting up close and personal with various aquatic animals. Next, have lunch at Tiger Cave restaurant, enjoying a hearty lunch with a close encounters of white tigers around you. After having lunch, we will drive you back to Malang or Surabaya.
Day 2: Tumpak Sewu Waterfall – Bromo Area
Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. We will drive to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall which is near our Homestay. Meet the local guide and go together to one of the most visited Waterfalls in Indonesia. Around 2-3 hours after enjoying the Waterfall, we will go back to the Homestay to prepare ourselves before departing to the next Hotel in Bromo Area. Once you reach the hotel, you will have some time to spare at your convenience by strolling around the hotel, the nearby farming area, witnessing the daily activities of the Tenggerese people, or just relaxing at the hotel.
Day 3: Sunrise Mt Penanjakan – Sea of Sand – Bromo Crater – Bondowoso/Banyuwangi
Get ready to be picked up at 3.00 am by a 4 WD-vehicle to experience the bumpy road to reach Mt. Penanjakan, which is the best spot to enjoy the breathtaking scene of Bromo sunrise. Driving down the hill, you will pass the vast sea of sand, resulting from the eruption of Mt. Bromo, in a 30 minute-easy track all the way to the peak. From the crater rim, you can see the active Bromo crater, caldera and the mountainous views of Mt. Batok and the highest mountain in Java Island, Mt. Semeru. Also, you can find the Hindu temple reflecting the Majapahit history. If you are lucky, you will be able to witness the Yadnya Kasada ceremony, a Tenggerese festival held every 14th of the Kasada month, to honor Sang Hyang Widhi the Almighty God, Roro Anteng the daughter of King Majapahit and Joko Seger the son of Brahmana. After breakfast, you will head to Mount Ijen Area in Banyuwangi/Bondowoso. Here, you will stay for a night in a hotel.
Get ready in the early morning because you will be picked up at 11.30 PM from your hotel. We will start the trip by driving you to Paltuding. Afterwards we will begin an hour-long trek to Ijen Crater. Here, you can get the chance to witness the dazzling blue lava-like rivers of light known as the Blue Fire phenomenon. Next, we will explore the crater area and see a panoramic view of Mount Ijen turquoise. At 8 a.m, we will return to Surabaya, Malang or Ketapang port.
