To start the trip, we will pick you up from your hotel in Yogyakarta. From there, we will take you to the train station and you will depart by train to Surabaya. You will meet our professional guide for your trip at Surabaya train station. Afterwards, we will drive about 2 hours to Sukapura village. Then, we will continue the trip by Jeep (4 WD) to enjoy the bumpy road towards Mt. Penanjakan which is the best spot to enjoy the breathtaking scene of Bromo sunrise. Driving down the hill, you will pass the vast sea of sand, resulting from the eruption of Mt. Bromo, in a 30 minute-easy track all the way to the peak. From the crater rim, you can see the active Bromo crater, caldera and the mountainous views of Mt. Batok and the highest mount in Java Island, Mt. Semeru. Also, you can find the Hindu temple reflecting the Majapahit Kingdom's history. Next, you can enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant and return to Surabaya.
