SURABAYA, INDONESIA - 13 August 2026—We are happy to share that CheapBromo took part in Kuala Lumpur Travel Mart 2026 in Malaysia, represented by our sales team. The event, held at Berjaya Times Square, brought together travel agents, tour operators, and tourism professionals from Malaysia and other markets.
It was a great opportunity for us to introduce more travelers and travel businesses to the experiences that East Java has to offer. During the event, we showcased some of East Java's most popular destinations, including Mount Bromo, Ijen Crater, Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, and Madakaripura Waterfall. For us, joining Kuala Lumpur Travel Mart was also an opportunity to introduce East Java to more travelers from Malaysia and across Asia.
With Indonesia located close to Malaysia, East Java can be a great choice for travelers looking for a short getaway, an adventure trip, or a longer journey through Java. Meeting travel professionals during the event also gave us the opportunity to exchange ideas and better understand what travelers from the Malaysian and Asian markets are looking for when visiting Indonesia.
